We'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Sunderland City Council for the provision of money for food items in our Half Term Activity bags.
During half term, all of our activity bags included activities with food provided, to make sure that every child who took part could learn how to make snacks and meals themselves, with the help of parents and carers. We loved seeing families have fun with food!
We were also able to give two families a gift of £5 per child per day, for food for the week, in partnership with one of our young carers.
It was so good to be able to help some families last week.
